Web Marketing Manager

We are looking for a full-time, permanent web marketing manager to work as a consultant in clients on various web projects. 

Our clients operate both in the UK and globally. The successful candidate will be required to travel to various client sites for 2-3 days per week.

This role would ideally suit someone with experience of working in the online department of a major corporation who has successfully delivered various ecommerce projects.

Salary

£35k-£45k (negotiable for an exceptional candidate) per year, plus attractive performance-related bonuses

You will be responsible for

  • Increasing our clients’ online sales through your own efforts and by managing media agencies, design agencies and hosting companies
  • Monitoring online marketing activity and reporting back to the client
  • Managing day to day relationships with your clients
  • Identifying further revenue opportunities for each client
  • Identifying further business opportunities for us

You will be

  • An experienced manager with excellent organisational and web marketing skills, able to manage and motivate teams.
  • Experience of working in the online department of a major corporation is strongly desired
  • Experienced in online, fully aware of latest web trends and developments
  • Educated to degree level (2nd class honours and above). Digital or Marketing qualifications are desirable
  • Able to solve problems and willing to take ownership of issues
  • Able to manage projects. A  project management qualification is desirable
  • Able to communicate well and develop strong working relationships with everyone. Strong written skills are highly desirable
  • Driven to provide the best possible levels of service and be able to manage teams to do likewise
  • Energetic, positive and with a “can do” attitude
  • Able to quickly learn new software and other tools

You will be able to demonstrate experience of

  • Driving successful campaigns through the online channel
  • Managing an ecommerce budget
  • Managing ecommerce channels (display, SEO, PPC, affiliates, affinity partners) and delivering campaigns through them
  • Working with 3rd party digital marketing providers such as media buying agencies and creative agencies
  • Omniture, Google Analytics and other web analytics tools. Certification is preferred but not essential
  • An understanding of the full end-to-end customer experience within each channel
  • Success in delivering successful, campaign-driven customer journeys from media to site
