Information Architecture and website design
With careful thought we create a set of page schemas called the Information Architecture. This shows the journey through your website for different buying scenarios.
The IA is the blueprint for website development.
Business and customer requirements
Before we start, we document all the business and customer requirements through a series of interviews. We build a set of 4 personas that we use in the design, build and test phases of the project, and we get everything agreed and signed off before proceeding to the next stage.
Wireframes
Simple black and white representations of each page quickly show if the new journey will work or not. You don't need to pay a designer for this work. We use Flairbuilder to produce a realistic, clickable model of ythe new customer journey
Mock ups
Once the wireframes are agreed, we commission web graphic designers to produce mock-ups of your screens - a fair colour representation of what the pages will look like. At the same time we engage our copywriting cube to create copy. The aim is for the mock-ups to use the first draft of copy.
At this stage the design is complete. We can go on to manage the page building process which entails producing the HTML and Java components and then managing the whole project until the site goes live. This can be quoted separately.
